An empty place, a place for relaxation and citizen initiatives, should be part of any city-center. There should be a place where festivals and big outdoor concerts can take place, a place for protests, as well as relaxation and a way to escape from the hustle and bistle form the city. This is the proposal for the Lammermarkt Leiden: give Leiden a empty place. Underneath the park there is a 2-storey carpark, which give a solution to the current car-parkproblems in the city.
